T-Shirt Skirt

If you like adorning yourself with the absolute most comfortable thing on the planet, this is for you.  If you have the attention span of a gnat, this is for you.  And if you are dirt poor, this is for you.  This was by far the cheapest, easiest, most comfortable thing I have ever made for myself.  It was so easy that I made 3-4 of them in less than an hour.

Easy T-shirt Wrap Bracelet

T-shirts never cease to amaze me.  Talk about the gift that keeps on giving!  In an effort to make a skirt out of an old t-shirt, I realized that an old T-shirt can be virtually anything you want it to be.  So with a few snips and about 10 minutes of time, I made a collection of awesome wristband wrap bracelets!!!

Crocheted Hat

Try to ignore the insanely cute baby and check out the hat I made for her this winter.  If you don't know how to crochet, it's a great way to fit in with the elderly.  And to make cool things.  Like this hat.  And it was easy!

Sweet & Spicy Chicken Stir-Fry

If you are looking for a healthy recipe with an awesome "kick" to it, you've got to try this!  Before settling on the ingredients I used for this dish, I was determined to make a recipe that called for fish sauce.  Since I tried several grocery stores in the area and couldn't find anything even slightly resembling fish sauce, I gave up on it.  I'm glad I did because this stuff is amazing!

Summer Roasted Salmon

It was a chilly day in the Upper-Midwest and as I was looking through cookbooks for something to make for supper, I came across this warm sounding recipe.  SUMMER Roasted Salmon.  This supper is best described in three words: Best. Salmon. Ever.

Citrus Salt Scrub

I made this Salt Scrub the other day after finding it on Paula Deen's site.  I didn't like the final result, so I changed it just enough to exfoliate yet moisturize.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

This year we did not put up a Christmas tree.  With a newly-crawling baby and very little patience for decorating, we did a little scouting for the perfect dead tree and used a little bit of imagination.  We clipped a few branches and stuck them loosely into a vase of Epsom salt.  Thanks to the World Wide Web, we found several great tutorials for Origami stars, and glued them onto the tree.  They made for really great table confetti too but we discovered that babies eat anything paper in reach, so those didn't make the final cut onto our living room end table.  Just a few short days ago, this tree was taken down and turned into mulch.  RIP, dead tree!

Delicious Vanilla Cupcakes for Two

Sure, eating an entire batch of cupcakes by myself may sound like a great idea, but I'm not sure my tummy would appreciate it much.  That being said, below is a great recipe that I found on http://buddingbaketress.blogspot.com/ for two yummy vanilla cupcakes!

A Fun Twist to Taco Night - From My Kitchen to Yours

Muffin Pan Taco Salads

*Note that the only "required" ingredient is the shell.  You can add whatever you wish.  However, below is what I used to make mine.

The Sugar*N*Spice Sisters

We are two sisters who look very similar but have very different hobbies.  We come together here; a little sugar and a little spice.  Gina is a music teacher in SD who loves to create in the kitchen.  April is a orthodontic technician in WI who spends as little time in the kitchen as possible!
